Pronounced “bar-dee”, barrd has been my Nom de Net since signing up for Apple’s eWorld, AOL, CompuServe and many other accounts back in the early 90’s. barrd’s origins now that you know my name should be relatively obvious.
20 plus years of collaborating with Adobe, CricInfo, FontWorks, Research Studios, Silicon Graphics to name but a few. Well versed in tech support, database admin, networking and coding.

It was during this time I ventured into eCommerce which was in its infancy. Hillary Corney and I developed (as far as we know) the first live credit card transaction followed by available downloads system in the UK. We continued to work together at CricInfo developing the successful CricShop.
In the past I have been, a civil engineer, sound engineer, camera-man and a part time farm hand. Not all at the same time The joys of being able to work online have afforded me the great luxury of travel. Thirty three countries visited thus far, some of which I spent extended periods in whilst working. I remain passionate about what I do and to this day still love the possibilities afforded by the Internet.
